You have to try this bakery! Everything in it is fresh, made daily and delicious! You are really missing out on one of life’s pleasures!
Make sure you stop in for the best Syrian/Lebanese food in the area!!
BAD BAD BAD SERVICE !! having good food doesn’t mean you have to give bad service. Don’t matter how long you have been in business,, doesn’t mean you have treat people with disrespect. The employee there Dora is so rude and needs to coaches to be a better employee. You should be ashamed of having an employee at your establishment like her WHAT A SHAME. I suggest to everyone to Take their business somewhere else. There is a better bakery and better customer service next door and it’s called MARIOS BAKERY Sams bakery >>> 10 thumbs down
Nothing like a hot out of the oven meat pie! THE BEST! A must stop!
Best Lebanese food anywhere (even Lebanon) bring cash...
Their meat pies are THE BEST, nobody else can compare
Best Syrian pies around. Many favorites, meat, lebon, spinach, cabbage. Worth the trip.
Must try! Go early. Meat pies. Chourico pies.
Love love love! The hours suck though.
Best bakery for Middle East food and baked items. Simply the BEST!!
Placed an order and it was not to be found when I went to pick it up. The Manager had them make a fresh platter quickly and did everything possible to correct the mistake. The quality of the meats and cheeses is very good here.
It is always a delight to visit my favorite. Great family atmosphere, you know the kind of food made with love. Because in all these years I've been going there, over 35 years now, I still feel the same as if I were little again, tasting my first spinach pie. So Yummy.
My favorite food. Taste great hard workers. Minus 1 start just because the pricing has been getting bad. Price has gone up a dollar + more per item over the last few years and the product has gotten a lot smaller and lighter on the ingredients. Open cheese use to be big as your head now its the size of a open 1 dollar soft taco. It taste amazing so they still get 4 but please stop shrinking it, work on getting a good supplier the food market is doing fine ive seen many food products go back to being cheap as the 90s
Miss the hot food during all hours of operation.
Was born in Fall River and always go to Sam's when in town. Always good, always fresh, and they are always so nice. If you have to wait, do it. You won't be sorry. My wife was born in St. Louis and never had this kind of food before and is a devout convert. The best.
Took my friend there she likes there she grow up in Fall River
It’s good, just wish I knew how long the product was out before I purchased it.
First timer. Awesome staff and fantastic pies!
SO HAPPY THEY OPENED...VERY ORGANIZED
This place is a hidden gem in the heart of Fall River. Sam's bakery offers stone oven baked lebanese pies that are to this day handmade behind their counter (which you can see). It is a tiny little bakery but the quality and flavors you will find here are beyond what you will find in any big front store. My children LOVE their chourice and meatpies, while my favorite is their cabbage pies. Make sure you buy some fresh baked pita bread while you are there too for the kids lunches .Their prices are just as good as their food, you can feed your family for about 20$ . I hope Sam's Bakery will live on in Fall River so we can keep visiting and enjoying their craft and love for baking.
A diamond in the rough of Fall River. This place is just amazing, and everything freshly made. Whether you're grabbing a famous meat pie or a bag of mouth watering maneesh chips, you will be satisfied every time.
Love this place. Great food, great people, great experience.
I have been coming to Sam's for years. Everthing is great. I have known the family for a long time. My favorite is the meniche. Nice and lemony. I always have with my coffee.
This place was recommended by some old-timer locals. The meat pies are supposed to be amazing. I'm vegetarian so I got the cheese and broccoli pies. $1.40 each. They were amazing. Syrian bread was delicious. Take out and cash only. Steady stream of people on rainy Sunday January morning at 9:45. Go early. Friendly service.
Best Lebanese bakery in the area. They make flat pita ,meat pies,in other goodies .You will have to visit.
We come from Cranston to get them. Best ever...
You just HAVE to try this place. A little intimidating if you don't know the foods, but the sweet woman behind the counter gave me a custom mix of meat pies and breads to try. It was a great intro to all of the foods, and now I'm hooked! Nationally recognized for a great reason, it's a definite place to try in Fall River! By the way, cash only.
That place is awesome I've been going there since I was a kid and it been great since I wish I could give it 10 stars
Fall river gem.i loved this bakery since I was a child.then my children now my grandchildren.their Syrian pies r so good.somtimes we buy kibbe meat with Syrian bread.add hummus if you like hummus.meiniche is a round bread you can get hot from oven sweet or regular.my husband like the open pies with cheese.sometimes if they have it the phawaffle balls are great.go you'll be glad you did .oh and they love love the little ones always hand them a bread .It's like a ritual for us.my grandkids always expect it.
OMG so darn good. Love this place, I only wish I was closer.
if you have lebanese heritage, this place will rival your grandmother's cooking. great pies bread and feta
Good to be back there after a long time. They run like a well oiled machine. A very efficient system they have there. The food is delicious as ever. Thanks!
FABULOUS Lebanese bakery. A Fall River institution. If you've never been it's a MUST! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
You honestly can never go wrong here. Best place in the city for meat pies, spinach pies, and meniche! The best part, service is done ASAP.
They need to get with the times and expect debit cards it's 2020 Mario's does except debit and myself think they are better tasting.
Love Sam's my great grandfather owed it when he came from Lebanon so many years ago and till now it continues to keep going strong. The best best recipe
Was told by several Fall River natives that Sam's was a must visit. The meat pie was absolutely delicious. Could have eaten several. As a note, they do not bake on Thursdays. Plan accordingly.
Classic mix of Armenian pitas with various local meat. Freshly made in front of your eyes. Breads, meat pies and local favorites. A local favorite is a Chorica or meat pies, and get here early they close by 1: 00
Love this place have been going since I was a child. I live in Somerset now, but when am back in Fall River I try to go to get my delicious meat pies
I have been going to this bakery for years and have enjoyed every visit. The staff is super friendly and efficient. I have no idea what my family would do without Sams!! Please always stay in business or you will have a lot of really disappointed people on your hands.
This place is a must in Fall River. Whether you live there and have never been or just passing through, you have to go to Sam's. My family has been going here for over 30 years. The food is phenomenal and unique. The bread is so good. The family that runs is it so kind and they know their customers well. They always offer a piece of bread to kids that come in. They did it when I was a kid 25 years ago and now with my daughter. We will always go to Sams for good food! And always amazing prices.
Great place.. Been going there over 40 years..
Best in the city. A Staple of Fall River Cuisine. I have been coming here 30+ years. Same family same great pies!
Their meat pies are good but aren’t worth dealing with the rude employees. They could really use an overall and some customer services classes. We will be finding elsewhere for meat pies
As always, awesome!!! Just a short outside wait. Well worth it 👌
We used to go to Sam's many years ago, and for some reason, life just got really busy. (We live in CT.) On a whim, we stopped at Sam's on our way back from The Cape (where we had also not been in many years). Well, the delicious smells as you entered the bakery brought back pleasant memories. The taste was even better. Meat pies, spinach pies were as good as we remembered. After buying 4 meat pies to eat in the car, we went back in and bought at least a dozen more, plus pita breads, and the pita with all the herbs (meniche?). We got home and froze the pies for future lunch/dinners. Definitely will return. Nice to know that some things, like Sam's, don't change!
Great meat pies and chorico pies.Best Lebanese bakery in the city. Gabe the Baker is a great guy!!!
Used to go to Sam's alot when I was a kid&since I moved away,I make that effort to go buy me 2 dozen meat pies everytime!
If you don't believe Heaven exists, you need to try a Sam's meat pie. It's a flavor explosion in your mouth that sends you to cloud nine right next to Mother Theresa.
Sadly they weren't as I remember. Everything seemed thinner. I remember the meat pies being plump and grease dripping down your arms. None were like that and one of my meat pies had a strip of paper baked into it. No one liked them and my son and I love zatar. I think they have slowly changed over the years, but that's just me.
